Greece is Set to Host the Youth Assembly of Nations 2026
The Youth Assembly of Nations 2026, organized by the Organisation for Global Peace and Sustainability (OGPS), will take place in Athens, Greece from October 7–10, 2026.
This prestigious international gathering will bring together 200 young leaders from across the world to engage in dialogue, leadership development, and global cooperation. Designed with a strong institutional and international outlook, the assembly provides a platform for youth to connect, collaborate, and contribute to global conversations on peace, sustainability, and diplomacy.
Applications are evaluated through a competitive and merit-based process:
Imagine standing where the world first learned to speak where ordinary people climbed a hill, raised their hands, and changed the course of history forever. Over 2,500 years ago, on the Pnyx hill of Athens, humanity held its first ever public assembly. Citizens gathered not as subjects, but as equals to debate, to decide, and to lead. Even the word diplomacy was born here, from the Greek diploma, the documents carried by the world’s first envoys. Athens led the Delian League, one of the earliest multinational alliances in history, pioneering the very idea that nations could sit together and cooperate. This is the city that proved one voice can move the world. And now, in October 2026, that same hill, that same spirit, that same energy awaits you. The Youth Assembly of Nations is not just an event. It is your moment to stand where history began, to add your voice to a 2,500-year-old conversation, and to walk away as the leader the world needs right now. Athens chose dialogue over division. Now it’s your turn to lead.
The event will be held in Athens from October 7–10, 2026.
